Have you ever heard someone say that you have to make sure every single thing you say to a girl has to be unexpected or out of the ordinary when you first meet her, or she’ll lose interest?
I have a different view. I think you can use ordinary boring conversational topics to your advantage, if you do it right. And I’ll teach you how to do it right.
What are the so-called “boring questions”?
How do you make your money?
What’s your major?
How old are your children?
Do you live around here?
Of course you don’t want to ask question after question like this, or she’ll feel like she’s on a job interview. But there’s a right way to go about asking these questions and still flirt well.
This is the magic formula:
TYPICAL QUESTION FLIRTING FORMULA: after she responds to your “typical question”, be ready to be PLAYFUL with her answer.
I will often, very early in the conversation, ask a woman what she does for a living, or, ifshe’s in school, I’ll ask her what she’s studying.
And then, I play with her answer.
Here’s an example:
If she says she walks dogs for a living, I’ll say “Shoot, I was going to bring my dog to the coffee shop today, but decided not to. You would have totally walked my dog all over the coffee shop, right?”
Notice how the response is framed so she is willing to do your bidding. This is a useful frame. And the way it’s delivered, she’s usually more than willing to play along. That’s got to be a good thing, right?
It’s fun, it’s fresh, and you can use it all the time.
Try it. The next time you’re talking with an attractive woman you’ve just met, give it a shot. And don’t restrict yourself just to women you’re attracted to.
Use it with store clerks, your aunts at the family reunion, little old ladies. They all love it!
