Every time I end up at a department store, I see hundreds of types of perfume for men that I’m curious to sample. Still, it’s impossible to do this, as there’s not enough time in the day to make it happen.

In addition to this, I couldn’t imagine the process of sampling so many colognes to be a pleasant one. We have to leave the art of selecting a good fragrance to our imagination, combined with some smart research.

Perhaps you’re looking to buy a gift for a friend or a loved one, or maybe you want some cologne for yourself. Whatever your objective is, I hope the ideas I’m about to share will be of use to you. Here are a few of the men’s colognes that I enjoy myself.

The first cologne I’m going to mention is one with a unique fragrance that many people are enjoying these days. Lacose Style in Play is the name of the cologne, and jasmine, woods, and musk combine to form a really nice cologne.

Calvin Klein’s Eternity. If you’re looking for something a bit more traditional and classic in nature, Eternity by Calvin Klein may just be your answer. The spicy aromas of this cologne for men have been popular for nearly two decades now.

A newer scent that I love is The One, which is made by Dolce and Gabanna. This cologne has a spicy aroma and they say the spices come from the Eastern part of the world.

If spice isn’t your thing, then here’s one on the opposite end of the spectrum. Versace’s Blue Jeans may be one of the sweetest colognes I’ve ever smelled, and this classic fragrance always goes well with those who enjoy something sweet.

Something a bit more neutral in my mind is Armani Code. This comes in a sophisticated dark blue bottle, and its scent is very masculine without being overpowering. It may be the sportiest of the ones I’ve mentioned, but it’s an ideal cologne for nightlife too.
